Starting from your port or hotel in Kusadasi, the tour takes you to the city of Priene. This ancient Ionian city, established 2,500 years ago, was one of the first cities to be planned with a grid system of streets. It is located at the base of a mountain, overlooking the Meander River.
Next, you will explore the ruins of Miletos, situated near the Aegean Sea. Here, you can visit the well-preserved ancient theater, which was built around the 4th century BC and could hold over 15,000 spectators. You will also have the opportunity to see the Bath of Faustina, a bathhouse named after the wife of Marcus Aurelius who commissioned its construction.
Lastly, the tour takes you to Didyma, which was connected to Miletos through a sacred road in ancient times. In Didyma, you will visit the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, one of the largest temples from the Hellenistic Period. Afterward, you will be transferred back to your cruise ship or hotel.
