About this tour

First of all, we will visit ancient Greek city, Ephesus and The House of Virgin Mary, a marvellous place hidden in the green, with our professional guides. During the day, we will visit the most worth seeing remains of the city such as The Marble Street, The Odeon, Bouleterion, The Temple of Hadrian, The Trajan’s Fountain, The Mosaic street, The Agora, The Baths, The house, The Great Theatre, Harbour Street and the third largest library of the Ancient world: The famous Celsus Library.
Our second stop will be the House of Virgin Mary where she spent her last days, preferred to live in this remote place rather than in a crowded place. Then we will visit the Temple of Artemis, which is known as one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, and built in an area of Ephesus. Today one can only see the ruins of the foundations of this marvelous construction of the Hellenistic Age, entirely made of marble and full of sculptured columns’ capitals and shafts.
Our last stop is to visit the Basilica of St.John where he was most probably buried. It is believed that the evangelist St. John had spent his last years in the region around Ephesus. The basilica is on the slopes of Ayasoluk Hill.
