TOUR ROUTE: Istanbul – Cappadocia and domestic flight back to Istanbul

Upon arrival at Istanbul International Airport, a guide will be there to meet you, provide assistance and transfer you to your hotel. Istanbul, the former capital of the Byzantine and Roman Empires, and the Ottoman State, is a truly fascinating city that bridges two continents – Europe and Asia. It is a melting pot of museums, bazaars, minarets, mosques, churches, palaces, and restaurants catering to all tastes and customs, with a population of 15 million. You will spend the night in Istanbul.
Following breakfast, embark on an Istanbul City Tour. Our first stop will be the ancient Hippodrome, where chariot races were held and where you can see the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine. Next, visit the Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque due to its stunning interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. Then, we will see the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, a former church and one of the greatest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture, adorned with beautiful 6th century golden mosaics. There will be a lunch break at 1pm and after lunch, we will visit Asil Efendi where you can find exotic spices and herbs, Turkish baklava, Turkish delights, Turkish coffee, nuts and fruits, and various souvenirs such as ceramic crafts and Evil Eye totems. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Optional Dinner Cruise on the Bosphorus Tour: In the evening, enjoy an optional entertaining dinner cruise on the Bosphorus, where Europe and Asia meet. The cruise includes dinner, unlimited local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, belly dance and Turkish folklore performances, DJ music and great entertainment. The cruise ends at midnight, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel for overnight stay in Istanbul.
Please Note: Please remember to bring a headscarf for visits to religious places such as the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Mosque.
After breakfast, we will embark on a BOSPORUS BY BOAT excursion, where we will sail along the waterway that separates Europe and Asia. Along the way, we will see grand sights such as Dolmabahce Palace, Yildiz Palace, Ciragan Palace, Ortakoy, RUMELI FORTRESS, BEYLERBEYI PALACE, and more. We will take a lunch break at a Turkish restaurant before visiting the GRAND SPICE BAZAAR for some shopping. Here, you will find a wide variety of exotic spices and herbs, Turkish Baklava, Turkish Delights, Turkish Coffee, nuts and fruits, small souvenirs such as Ceramic Handicrafts, Evil Eyes totems, all natural olive oil, soaps, and other goods. After the tour, we will transfer to Istanbul Airport for a domestic flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel for check-in, dinner and an overnight stay in Cappadocia. Please Note: If you wish to join our optional activity of Cappadocia Hot Air Ballooning for tomorrow, please contact your guide and register as it will take place early the next morning.

(Breakfast included) After a delicious breakfast, you will have the morning to explore Cappadocia at your leisure. Whether you choose to take a leisurely stroll through the unique fairy chimneys, visit an art studio, or indulge in some last-minute shopping, you will be able to make the most of your final hours in this beautiful region. Later in the day, we will depart for Kayseri Airport for our domestic flight to Istanbul, where your tour will come to an end.
